Role: ODI (Oracle Data Integration) Developer

Location: Southfield, MI

Duration: Long Term (Full Time Position)

 

·         At least 3 years DW design and development experience; 3 years Information Systems experience

·         Experience with Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition

·         Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

 

Position Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop and implement logic to extract, transform & load data from transactional applications into the DW using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and PL/SQL

·         Partner with Database Administrators and DW developers to achieve great performance

·         Help DW end users understand and query data to accomplish their business purposes

·         Respond promptly and effectively to resolve incidents

·         Gather requirements for a change by meeting with customers and listening actively

·         Meet your time and cost estimates when implementing a change

·         Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities described above

·         Fulfill customer requirements using Oracle Data Integrator and PL/SQL

Position Qualifications:

·         At least 3 years DW design and development experience; 3 years Information Systems experience

·         Experience with Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition

·         Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

·         Practical knowledge of lifecycle database design, 3NF and dimensional design concepts

·         Experience with Oracle (preferably version 11)

·         Knowledge of Unix Scripting and job scheduling

 

Preferred: 

·         Familiarity with Oracle Application Express

·         Knowledge of ETL tools –Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition

·         Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
