We are looking for a Powerbuilder/Oracle/Sybase Developer in Old Hickory, TN

 

Job Title                    :  Powerbuilder/Oracle/Sybase Developer

Location                    :  Old Hickory, TN

Duration                    :  6+ Months

 

Mandatory Copies: Passport Copy/Number and H1B copy.

 

 Job Description:–

·         Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining existing old applications (esp. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES): a control system for managing and monitoring work-in-process on a factory floor). Role will involve maintaining; upgrading and enhancing applications developed on PowerBuilder platforms and perform Plant IT support.

·         Experience with applications like MES and other Shop Floor etc

·         PowerBuilder v12.5

·         Oracle/Sybase/SQL RDBMS

·         Unix scripting

·         Data architecture

·         Experience using SVN, Toad, SQL developer, Citrix

·         Performing IT software development work on project, discretionary or operational items.

·         Operational Items would mean providing L1/L2/L3 support to business users, supporting Service Requests etc. Manage work with in SLA of Response and Resolutions

·         Project/Discretionary may include: Technical Estimating, Technical Analysis, Technical Requirements Definition, Technical Solution Design, Technical Specification & Acceptance Criteria, and Technical Test Plan design and execution

·         Understand and analyze requirements from Business/Plant teams, Design and Develop, Unit test and deploy new product features.

·         Analyze and resolve software defects

·         Support and maintain key application in PowerBuilder and Sybase/Oracle

·         Should be able to analyze and resolve Production Tickets with quick turnaround time
