Position: Kafka Cassandra Developer
Location: Mt Laurel, NJ.
Duration : 11 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a strong candidate with 7 - 8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Applications based on Kafka and Cassandra.
1. 7 - 8 years of experience in Java/Java EE
2. 3 - 4 years of development and administration experience in Kafka is a MUST. Experience on other related techs like Zookeeper, Storm will be a plus.
3. 3 - 4 years of Experience in developing real-time Big Data solutions using DataStax Cassandra administration.
4. 3 - 4 years of Experience in supporting real-time Big Data solutions using DataStax Cassandra in Production environment.
5. 4 - 5 years of in depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes shell scripting
6. Experience in building, deploying and managing services and applications in Cloud platform is a plus.
7. Experience in build systems such as Maven and Ant and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and GoCD
8. Experience in software debugging and performance tuning
9. Candidate must have experience in developing performance intensive, high availability application
10. Strong skills in solving complex problems
11. Works well in a team environment
12. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
13. Strict adherence to development standards"
