Interview Process:
1.) 30 minute coding exercise with client (this will be done over skype) :
2.) Face to Face interview with end client
H1B candidates must provide valid Photo ID, copy of H1B and I-94 (Proof of date of entry in USA).
Job Description :
· BS Degree in Computer Science (or 4 years programming experience)
· Significant mobile app development experience.
· Very stong javascript skills
· 1 year of experience with AngularJS
· Understanding of mobile app development environment, build tools, and processes
· An understanding of software development methodologies
· Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task, and good interpersonal skills
· Experience working with revision control systems, build systems, and working within a team environment
· Experience deploying publically-facing software products.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be familiar with one or more of the following:
· Server-side programming with Node.js
· Apache Cordova / PhoneGap
· Amazon Web Services
· Familiarity with at least 1 scripting language (preferably something serious like python, ruby, or perl)
· Software packaging and deployment experience
· Programming within a Linux environment
· websockets
· Native iOS and Android app development
Culture/Environment:
· This position is all about the individual's ability to code. Communication skills and personality take a back seat to coding ability.
· Business casual
· Some collaboration with other developers, UI/UX Designers…etc
· Working on a product called the Kumo Cloud - part of HVAC technology
