Contract To Hire_Ruby Developer_Cincinnati, OH_(USC / GC only)

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Work Auhtorization: USC/GC only-must interview F2f!

Interview: Will go through a tech screen with one of our internal developers as well 

Required Skills:

• 3+ years professional software development experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks and techniques (e.g. Angular), HTML5, CSS
• Familiarity with concepts of RESTful services.
• Test-driven development with RSpec, Capybara, Jasminen is desired
• Integration of data storage solutions (PostgreSQL, SQl Server, etc)
• Analytics: Exposure to R or Python or SAS will be a plus
• Any experience/ exposure to statistical modelling will be a plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Agile or Lean Software Development experience
• Participate in code reviews. 
• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues that are escalated by the team.
• Able to communicate with technical and non-technical resources
• Participate in technical documentation
