Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to establish the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service built on the Microsoft Azure MFA framework formerly known as PhoneFactor and provide 24x7 operational support. This includes the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting all components for the MFA infrastructure and its dependencies. It will also require the creation of support operational guidelines, policies, and procedures for incident, problem, configuration and change management. The Active Directory infrastructure provides a unified platform for the State's Active Directory file and print services and applications. This platform requires focus on the high availability and security requirements for the Multi-Factor service.
Description of Work:
20% - Participate with Product Engineering on the development of the Multi-Factor design.
40% - Perform all MFA system administration responsibilities.
40% - Support tactical direction and operational support for MFA Service.
Required 3 years of Experience in below:
- Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (formerly PhoneFactor)
- Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Authentication protocols: Kerberos, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
- Understanding of how to enable single sign-on in a heterogeneous IT environment
- Knowledge of how identities are maintained and used by applications in Active Directory 2008/2012
- Experience deploying and maintaining Active Directory Federation Services to enable single sign-on with claim-based applications
- Experience with deploying and maintaining Windows Servers 2008/2012 in production environment
- Networking skills, especially around firewalls, reverse proxy and VPN access
- Some basic programming skills, especially around how applications authenticate and authorize access independently of the programming language used
- Knowledge of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Service Delivery processes
- Knowledge of infrastructure, directory, and security best practices to be able to evaluate procedures for an efficient service offering
- Ability to create written process documentation including support operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
