FULL STACK .NET DEVELOPER

Location: Purchase, NY

Contract: 6+ months extendable

Interview Process: Tech screen, phone screen to face to face (MUST FACE TO FACE, NO SKYPES THE MANAGER SAID).

Must have: C#, ASP.NET, UI Skills, and SQL and GOOD COMMUNICATION

 

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and maintainable web applications. Products may include user interfaces, integrations with third party web services and new or existing databases
• Develop functional prototypes and beta web applications quickly
• Support existing web applications including troubleshooting, bug fixing, required upgrades and modifications to existing functionality.

Required Skills / Experience

• BS or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics
• 5+ years developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET MVC
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery and web frameworks
• Experience developing business applications using SQL Server or another RDBMS
• Knowledge of current best practices of web application development using HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices such as SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Development experience under an agile development methodology and process
• Strong written and oral communication, documentation and interpersonal skills, and a positive can-do attitude
• You must be extremely thorough, analytical, and focused on details
• You must be able to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills / Experience

• Experience building and consuming web services using Web API 2.0
• Experience with unit testing and test driven development.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Experience using tools Rally, GIT, TFS
• Experience with mobile app development
• Development experience of responsive user interfaces
