 2-3 years with good knowledge of testing and developing mobile apps.

Bachelors degree (Four year degree) in Engineering, preferably Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, Android Studio, Continous integrations, Gradle builds.

 

Experienced in writing test plans, execute test cases, debug issues for Mobile Android Application Development

 

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch" Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Familiarity with continuous integration.

Be adept at rapid prototyping and iterative development.

• Selenium or Webdriver will also be considered

• Automation testing using any of these tools like Espresso, robotium, Appium, Calabash etc.

• Experience working with cross functional teams

• Agile

• Regression testing

• Test script upgrades

• Development of test strategies and plans

• Test cases documentation

• Scripting experience - Python, Java etc
