Urgent Requirement - Data Architect - Minneapolis, MN

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6+ months

 

seeking an data architect for marketing domain. The position is a highly technical position, focusing on understanding the various systems that are involved in marketing domain such as Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, DCM (Double click manager), Social Media, Forecasting systems etc.. and build a data model in Hadoop platform, that can combine all this data. This person should be comfortable with Big Data architecture design and integration strategies across cloud and traditional analytical environments. The position will work closely with IT leaders, line of business managers, and technology partners to conduct requirement gathering session, convert those to data model in Hive and provide specs to integration team for loading the data model. This person should also have fair understanding of NoSQL systems such as HBase so that the data which needs API access could be loaded to it.

 

Experience-Education (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. 
• Strong development experience in Hadoop specially around Hive, Spark
• Systems Integration experience
• Experience designing data queries against data in the HDFS environment using tools such as Apache Hive, Apache Spark
• Experience in organizing data in Hadoop using tables, directories, Partitions etc.
• Experience implementing software and/or solutions in the enterprise Linux or Unix environment
• Strong understanding of various security requirements around data access
• Knowledge and experience in implementing BI DW and integration
