I feel it is high time that the Government insists that these and other high ranking institution, especially government owned, adopt 2 or 3 neighboring colleges / universities (government / private) for mentoring, guiding and hand holding.
Otherwise as correctly pointed out by Dr. Waghodekar such rankings are of no use except for these will be announced every year and one can pat his back!
