Re: [MTC Global] The future of employment

The  first step is to make Higher Education exclusive.
We need to distinguish between Higher education, schooling and skilling.
When acquiring a degree is matter of time-3 years-5 years and very little RELEVANT learning happens we have  a literate  nation that doesn't fit into any work/job/profession.
What a waste of resources!
IF a sweepers job is for a PG what is the message we are sending out both about the choice as also the degree?
Hence Higher education should have a purpose while most should go out to be productive citizens

Dear All,

Greetings!!

For your reading, pls.

The future of employment

Traditional recruits and managers who haven't diversified their skill sets are in the firing range...

The issue is particularly serious for countries like India where more than 10 million people enter the job market every year.

When people cannot support themselves with work at all – let alone with work they find meaningful there can be serious social problems.

There is no option but to go in for a dramatic shift in skilling and retooling the job aspirants.

With best regards.
