Let me be a little bit harsh:
- All most all technical institutes including MBA are run most non-technically, no process/performance/efficiency/energy/effectiveness/cost/wastage/ financial management, etc.
- Many of the technical institutes run simultaneously MBA/PGDM prgs including HR specialization. But hardly execute HR or other functions like financial management. This is so because we (faculty) have been paid for teaching only and not for execution showing results in (institute) real-life world.
- I am officiating as Adviser (HR) since 2013 and contributed a lot, manpower planning and requirements, services T & C, payment polices- I take care for 2 Engineering Colleges, 3 Polytechnics, one Architecture College, one Food technology College, one General Education College, and one Nursing college, implemented Time Bound Promotion in 2013 for Class-III & Class-IV employees, gratuity, EPF, recruitment, Employee Training & (academic) Development, etc. (See the attachment, just a glimpse).
- Unfortunately we pay more attention to monitor/compile the paperwork (documentation creation) just to satisfy the bureaucratic requirements of regulatory authorities than improving the effectiveness of institute.
