Re: Recruitment of 1000 "bilingual" science and technical school teachers

The lack of the English version is where I wanted us to pick holes. This is clear evidence that whatever the Republicans are doing is mere window dressing. They can never change. The so-called order that contained this recruitment of 1000 bilingual science and technical education teachers came to us from the PM's office on 2oth November 2016. We only knew it came from the PM's office because of the letterhead. It had no reference and no official seal. It was this same piece of paper that contained the message on the 2 billion francs subvention to private schools. We wrote back to the PM pointing out such flaws but to the best of my knowledge, they have not been corrected. We also asked for the meaning of 'bilingual science and Technical school teachers and when and where they were trained. Up to now when we are still begging for the answers to these questions they have launched the recruitment. In our critic of the document we pointed out that it was a ploy by government to massively recruit Bamilekes to fill our schools in the name of bilingual science teachers.
There is no where among the requirements that they have asked for a bilingual certificate as far as my small knowledge of French is concerned. The deadline for submission of documents is Friday September 15, 2017. So when are their schools going to reopen on 4th October. I am sure they have the MoRISC Roadmap, because it would take another one year to do the selection, in their usual way. Well,Chinua Achebe says in his novel Things fall Apart that he who waits shall see what is in the grass. Make grass no dasso shake you start run. some time na ngron beef. Time will tell.
