People,
I ran into this report on BaretaNews network (see link below), that if true, will bring some new perspective to the struggle of the people of Southern Cameroons.
If this is true, then this is the time for SCACUF, MoRisc and the Interim Government to intensify diplomacy in Germany and in Europe.
 
The Interim President and Government should go to Germany and ask to address the German parliament on the matter of the Southern Cameroons. This is the time to begin preparing that historic speech that will push this struggle through the finish line.
Independence is foremost an international diplomatic matter, and that is why we need the Interim Government to be firing on all cylinders in the diplomatic front.
 
Write letters to European parliaments and Governments and go to Germany, Belgium, Canada, Nigeria, the USA and even France and ask to address the parliament (of these democratic countries) on the matter of Southern Cameroons.
 
Tell them that Self-determination is a fundamental right to all people on earth in the 21st century. It is a God given right for a people to be free from slavery, free from tyranny, subjugation and oppression, free from humiliation and dehumanization.
 
Self-determination is a fundamental right for a people to chart the course of their own destiny and that of their children. Tell them that the people of Southern Cameroons have suffered for far too long under the tyranny and oppression, dictatorship, marginalization, dehumanization, harassments, arrests, rapes of our girls, daily illegal searches and seizures, illegal arrests and imprisonments, extrajudicial killings and exploitation. (Attach pictures and graphic evidence and point to the amnesty International reports on abuses in Cameroon in the letter).
 
Tell them that the great country that Germany represents must not turn a blind eye and deny the humanity of the people of Southern Cameroons.
Tell them that we take our fight to Germany because, the great people of Germany, with whom we share a piece of common history represent the beacon of freedom in Europe and have a say on our struggle.
 
M. interim President, this is the time for great leadership. It is moments like these ones that make great leaders. Historical events such as these are what give birth to great leaders. We must rise up to the occasion. We have gone too far to turn back now. This is our moment. This is our time.
This is the time to prepare for that great historical speech that can change the hearts of the people and the course of the history of the brave people of Southern Cameroons.
And Germany may very well  be a great place to start. It is time to begin looking for great speech writers who know the history and can put together these great words of freedom that have the capacity to inspire and change the human heart. We must begin to put together the words of freedom for the people of Southern Cameroons.
 
Even if we get a NO answer from the German parliament, at least your request and presence will be acknowledged and that would be a good thing for the diplomacy of the struggle.
 
Let's get to work. The finish line seems to be at the horizon.
