Re: [MTC Global] B-Schools in metro cities are scoring over small-town IIMs

Theses are the benefits of metro environment well perceived in public mind. This trend is applicable not only for MBA but even for Engineering, competitive exam etc. People in Ambajogai prefer Aurangabad, if no other alternative is available and people in Aurarngabad prefer Pune!

In India environment plays a more significant role than the quality of instruction (through quality faculty of course). Institutes in rural areas can be competitive through:
  1. Recruiting best talent (faculty).
  2. Networking with metros.

There is Urgent Need to focus Management Institutions in Small towns to focus on
Empowering Rural Markets . Opportunities are there . All our Statistics show
Rural Youth, Agri GDP falling inequalities etc . However all management Institutes still focus
on Urban Markets . It is challenge no doubt but it is worth taking on !!
