Re: Southern Cameroons Struggle: Why Gov’t Dispatches Delegation to UN

Dear Mr. Amabo,
I have read somewhere in your post something implying that the crisis is still on because our leaders are still in jail. This means that if they are released, then everything will be over! Embarrassing isn't it? Is it because our leaders were imprisoned that we revolted? It is very important that we do not work for the enemy even if unwittingly. We revolted against and invader, an illegal occupier of our country. We are on  to drive on course to drive out this occupier and re-establish our sovereignty. Though we also resolve that our leaders be released unconditionally as demanded by the UN, we do not and cannot substitute that release for the purpose of this revolution. This distinction must be clear. The kidnapping and incarceration of our leaders is another crime and their release is supposed to be unconditional and has nothing to do with the complete execution of our project to free ourselves. Any misrepresentation such as the one I am addressing does us no good but helps our enemies. If anyone is on our side it will be good for such to ensure that the ideas we publish fit.

Southern Cameroons Struggle: Why Gov't Dispatches Delegation to UN

In what looks like a move to thwart the diplomatic efforts by Southern Cameroonians, as they battle to restore their statehood, the government of Cameroon has dispatched a three man delegation to the United Nations.

The delegation would be in the USA barely days after officials of the Public Affairs Committee of the Southern Cameroons Ambazonia Consortium, United Front, SCACUF, marched to the UN office in New York to denounce rights violations and seek UN's intervention to prevent a possible genocide in the Southern Cameroons.
