Exp level more than 5 + years
 
Mandatory Skills/Knowledge
 
SW installation skills

• Creating xml config files
• Mounting ISO files
• Loading package files (ftp, scp, etc.)
• Installing package files

 
Configuration skills

• Comfort with GUI configuration
• Comfort with CLI configuration
• Edit xml config files

• Comfort with shell scripting
• Strong communications skills
• Strong ability to adapt to changing requirements
• Strong ability to set and manage customer expectations

 
 One or more of the following broad areas

• UCS installation and configuration
• VMware installation and configuration
• Windows and/or Unix Administration

 

• Cable Television or Telecommunications technical experience required
• Hands on configuration experience of advanced video equipment (e.g. DNCS/DAC controllers, VOD, multiplexing, digital transport, edge QAM, STB).
• Knowledge of Transcoding
• IP Video Experience
• Experience with Cloud DVR technology

 
Travel will be required to the extent of 50 to 60 %
