It doesn't discuss the affect of resveratrol on apoptosis.

Lots of discussion on the possible anti-cancer benefits, but that no
evidence that it helps treat active cancer. But the interest is obviously
strong enough for Johns Hopkins to be involved in a study treating resistant
prostate cancer with high doses of resveratrol.

Conclusion- resveratrol enhances muscle membrane integrity via reduction in
inflammation during peak pathological period and long term oxidative stress.
