I have a patient with an existing Biomet implant which had never been uncovered. Sent to my excellent oral surgeon and he contacted the rep. He got the sales pitch about taking an impression of the healing abutment and he was jazzed and encouraged to start placing Biomet fixtures. I am certainly comfortable taking fixture level impressions, but if I can get as good a result with a simpler system, why not?
Anyone here with experience with the Biomet Encode system? Thanks!
