Rate: $40/hr on Corp-Corp

Position: Oracle Developer

Location: San Leandro, CA

Duration: 10 Months Contract

 

Qualifications:

The Senior Oracle Database Developer is responsible for analysis, design, implementation and integration of technical database solutions during the application database upgrade from 10g to 11g. Expertise in oracle database and RDBMS concepts. Technical consultation to the management, business users, and technical associates and works closely with DBA's and coordination with offshore development team. The developer will also design, document, and modify SQLs, PL/SQLs, functions and triggers for the performance optimization of business reports. Coordinate work efforts with the DBA and application teams for application change controls and system performance issues.

 

Experience Required:

·         7+ years experience working closely with Database Administrators in the design, implementation, tuning and maintenance of highly available and high volume database solutions.

·         7+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills including the ability to design, develop, unit test, and performance tune packages, procedures, functions, triggers and complex queries.

·         7+ Experience developing solutions using TOAD, SQL Developer and SQL Loader.

·         Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

·         Strong written and oral communications skills.

·         Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.

·         Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

·         Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
