Re: [ACEsthetics] Re: Hard to believe

reminds me of a song I once wrote, and more than likely her check really isn't in the mail Rick.

(The Front Desk) Tells me You're Coming Back To Me.

(sung to the tune of a Stone's song of a similar name)

I, said don't come back, again.

You've, owed me money since God, knows when.

I know you find it hard,

to make payments to me.

Now you've got a toothache,

but not my fee

The front desk

Tells me you're coming back to me,

The ladies,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

No money,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

You deadbeat.

Tell me you're coming back to me.

You, haven't paid me since '94.

I made you 3 crowns and a post, and core.

I tried to tell you, but you,

didn't want to know.

Your central was abscessed,

now you need EN-DOugh

The front desk

Tells me you're coming back to me,

The ladies,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

No money,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

You deadbeat.

Tell me you're coming back to me.

You, say I'm the best dentist you've ever had

You, need that tooth fixed it hurts, so bad.

You'll put a check in the mail,

But it'll never come.

I say, "Just squeeze her in."

I'm so freaking dumb.

The front desk

Tells me you're coming back to me,

The ladies,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

No money,

Tell me you're coming back to me,

You deadbeat.

Tell me you're coming back to me.

She wouldn't tell me the name, but she was a credible woman, maybe this had been diagnosed before and she hadn't done what she needed to do, I dunno. I did for it what I have gotten to do with my immediate implant cases- I put the post in, bonded it, and then just placed and molded Artiste and made a tooth, how hard is that? Crazy. Seriously, to me that is just as much of an emergency as an abcess or broken tooth.  A woman with a missing front tooth, are you kidding me?

Rick and all … I agree with you to an extent; however, have you called him to get his side of the story?   I would find it difficult to believe that I wouldn't do something for a patient of record, even if it were only temporary.   I wonder, if the dentist thought how he would feel walking around without a front tooth for days if not longer, while trying to get into a prosthodontist.   What did you do for her and do you have a photo?   You and I know that the goodwill is worth a lot more than the fee you may have charged.

This lady called yesterday, turns out she went to her old dentist with this, and he/she told her that she needed to see a prosthodontist and wouldn't do anything with that tooth.

Can you frickin imagine doing that to an attractive middle aged woman, who works in an office job?

How much trouble is it to put a post and build a temp crown?

You think she is a grateful patient right now? Oh, don't answer that, her eyes told me!

Pisses me off that any dentist would pass on that opportunity to help, seriously.

Rick
