Re: [ACEsthetics] mercury on pan

There is quite a bit of fraud used to "sell" dentistry involved with many MP cases that I see.  BTW fraud triples damages and not all of it is necessarily covered by one's MP insurance.

If a litigation is filed, your recs. may be subpoenaed as a subsequent treater.  IOW you want to make sure that your recs. are well written and include what the patient told you (Not your opinion included).

I have yet to have a holistic dental case go all the way to court.  All have settled.

I just had a new patient who was last treated by a holistic dentist in WA state. He replaced all her amalgams because he could "see the mercury in her maxillary bone leeching from her amalgam fillings" on her panorex. She presented today with classic TMD symptoms but attributed it to the remaining mercury in her jaw. She could "feel" the toxicity. I kept a straight face and asked for a copy of the pan showing the mercury. Is this really what dentists are telling their patients? It was a laugh for the otherwise crazy morning.
