This is a case that was in for follow up last week.  Super nice guy who has had a bad bite most of his life and some bad partials for many years.

He was not opposed to implants, but he did not want to have  sinus lifts and bone grafts so that we could get first molar occlusion on the top.  I kept the teeth on top and used a one piece pfm bridge over the teeth and implants. The lower is posterior zirconia bridges and and anterior zirconia crowns. I went with all zirconia to match the value of the upper pfm bridge

He came to our office specifically because of case we have on our website smile gallery (the case pics w/ the blue background) of a guy we did a similar tx for.  This pt was amazed how much better the after face looked on the smile gallery case and figured he could stand some improvement there.  We don't often think of guys as being interested in how their face looks let alone their smile.  While this guy was driven mostly by function (had a hard time eating w/ his partials and bite), I think he was also looking forward to having improving his facial appearance.

The usual nm fm workup, u/l orthotics, implants, stabilization and then final restoration.

A big thanks to Bob Clark and the great team at Williams Dental Lab for a great case.  Yes, those are some mighty long upper front teeth, but they fit his face and smile and he had a lot of bone loss in that edentulous area.

Remember, we have photo consent for me, but not for you :-).
