Re: Re: [MTC Global] Modern Interview questions to judge a Faculty leaked

Dear Sirs, The Modern Interview episode as first narrated by Dr.Suresh Chandra has
shown to have many facets as various threads show.
The first: The organization has pre-decided who to recruit and the interview
process is to create a record ( a charade)
The Second: The Interview process is to unbalance the interviewee mentally and to
touch him to anger and frustration. Here they are looking at those people who can
take mental stress ( the Roadies Model)
The third is to have fun and games at the interviewees expense( Casual or Non
serious interviews)
Lastly it is the Institution's prerogative to choose who to work. So if the work
demands a lot of stress as that of a shop floor supervisor or a Sales Supervisor
then the stress interview may be best suited.
A point that could be made is that, the institute may have decided to scrap fresh
recruitment but having called the candidates, the interviewers had to complete the
process and complete the motions and this may include creating a new database of
potential candidates for future.

After such an experience none can claim that his/ her interview was good and
therefore he/ she should have been hired. This has become commonplace not only in
academics but in corporate as well.

This is really ridiculous practice and not expected of learned people in the
interview committee.
