RE: [ACEsthetics] I've never seen this before in 20 years

We saw a 14 year old girl in hygiene yesterday with the same situation.  The orthodontists are jumping the centrals over in six months.  Why would you not do that with this…other than the standard “he refused orthodontics”?

Get Bob  to do one of his industrial strength wax ups and do a trial smile with Luxatemp to show him. Certainly worth doing that!

That's the great question, Rick.  I don't think he can envision how much better he can look but it's my job to see how much he cares.

As "the Bulldog" asks all of his new patients, " how important are facial and dental esthetics to you?"

This is a friend of mine who lives in Hong Kong.  He just flew in to town to visit his sister and we are trying to come up with a solution by the end of next week.

There is only one man who can pull this off.....Bob Clark...of Williams Dental lab.

He has NO NM symptoms that have been uncovered.  He is 36 years old, a triathlete.  Healthy.

He has no decay except for a couple of small spots but his upper centrals are worn a lot because of this bite dynamic.  I will send photos tomorrow.  His teeth are yellow (like creme brulee yellow)

My first thought it to open him a little with temps so that I can get some overlap on the posteriors.  There is no way to get over lap on the upper front 6 (I don't think).  Strangely, when you talk to this guy he looks reasonably normal.  His premaxilla could be more forward but his anterior tooth length is not too bad.  He has a super wide mandible and he is a skeletal class III but he doesn't look too bad.  He does look super narrow when he smiles, though!

I think Bob can get the wax up done by thursday and temps for a couple of months in Hong Kong and then he returns for the finals.

Any thoughts?
