Test Lead - Palo Alto, CA - 6+ months contract

Title:                   Test Lead

Location:          Palo Alto, CA

Duration:         6+ months contract

 

The Testing Lead will be responsible for successful execution of the business testing cycles for the project.  This includes:

1.      Manage test preparation activities including:

·         coordinating with the BAs to ensure use cases are completed on time and to expectations

·         Coordinating with a cross functional Business teams to ensure test script creation and preparation are completed with the necessary support

·         Ensure all data preparation requirements are met prior to testing start

·         Ensure test dashboard and daily testing goals are set up following defined standards and templates

·         Ensure relevant testing logistics are secured in multiple GEO locations

·         Ensure project team coverage model (functional area, GEO) for testing is confirmed

2.      Manage test execution activities:

·         Primary point of contact for testers and SMEs

·         Host daily checkpoint calls with Business teams to report on progress and issues

·         Ensure there is proper coverage by the project team of the issues raised during testing

·         Work with IT/technical leads to ensure reported issues are triaged and addressed

·         Report daily status on test execution progress to leadership and stakeholders

·         Manage the disposition of defects raised by business testers

·         Comply to and obtain necessary test exit approvals required by the SDLC

 

3.       Understanding of the solution being developed at hand will be desired to ensure that the effectiveness of managing the triage process between the various business/IT/project teams.

4.       Knowledge of SDLC and experience performing/managing/leading system testing activities is desired

5.       Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex issues to resolution

6.       System experience: Search tools, Install Base, Entitlement Management, Business Intelligence reporting
