Role  : Sr Financial Business Analyst

Location : Buffalo NY

Duration : Long term

Interview : Phone and Skype

 

 

Job description :

Ø  Need top notch candidates with excellent communication skills.

Ø  Preference will be given to candidates who have attained any level of CFA and/or have a Finance degree. 

Ø  Although 5 is minimum, prefer candidates that have closer to 7-10 years of exp.

 

 

 

Project Requirements :

Ø  Listing and shifting of current QRM configuration of version 14 (set up products, charting of accounts) and move to new release version 16 – regression test of results.

Ø  Implement and Customize firm-wide global standards platform within QRM for the unique requirements of the impacted North America sites.

Ø  Review and validation of updated Chart of Accounts outputs, updated yield curve inputs, behaviorialization models, valuation reports, income statement risk reports, balance sheet projections, daily gap analysis, etc. Regression-test to ensure changes comply with expected results.

 

 

Required Skills :

Ø  Sr. BA – 5-10 years functional on Business side and ability to quickly learn and independently operate a complex risk management software application - QRM (experience with QRM specifically is a plus)

Ø  Heavy Financial Analysis

Ø  Calculating expected cash flows given specific product or model attributes and assessing validity of model outputs versus expected results

Ø  Understanding of cash flows and present values to dig thru and determine why numbers are changing given shift in QRM platform configuration

 

 

Must understand the following:

o   How to calculate interest income and causes of change in various scenario analyses & reports: valuations, net interest income impact analysis, balance sheet projections, daily gap, etc. 

o   Be able to identify, understand and articulate drivers of change within each scenario and across product lines.

o   Treasury bills knowledge – MUST

Ø  Prefer candidates with finance background (rather than accounting background)
