Must-haves
- 2-4 years recent java development experience
- Core java platform experience (generics, annotations, collections framework)
- J2EE Java enterprise experience (JPA, JDBC, JMS, EJB, RMI, and Servlets)
- TCP/IP, UDP or other network domain experience
- Strong PL-SQL skills for the backend database

Role
We are looking for a junior to mid-level java developer/engineer with current skills in Java Enterprise, SQL, database management, ETL and high-volume, data based applications. This person will be working on a team that contributes new features to the SMS (Security Managament System) application in biannual software releases. They will be responsible for sustaining the product for their A-list customer base of network security administrators within the government, military and private enterprise. This large network security organization provides in-line, real time vulnerability threat protection for most Fortune 500 companies. The SMS manages all the network security devices for this company.
