Title: Web Application Developer - .Net Technology
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire – Must be local to NH or MA
On-Site Interview Required
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Overview:
In this position, you will be a key contributor in the implementation of the next generation of our client's web-based enterprise class application offered to our customers as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.
Responsibilities include participating in the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. This opportunity offers the ideal candidate the ability to have a significant impact on the company's growth, profitability and product direction in the dynamic SaaS market. As a member of our development team, a high level of accountability is expected in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop client-side interfaces and workflows
• Develop and extend server-side business layer objects as required
• Collaborate with team members to complete complex technical requirements
• Deliver assigned functionality on-time and within scope
• Provide assistance and guidance in QA processes
• Work with Professional Services team to solve customer issues
• Help build our client's intellectual property
Qualification and Skills:
• 2+ years (current) experience developing consumer-orientated ASP.Net 2.0 web applications or services
• Understanding of OOP, .Net, C#, ASP.Net 2.0+
• Working knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX and Soap
• Solid understanding of relational database and SQL for implementing database driven, web-based applications
• Excellent analytical, coding, and testing skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to assist customer support personnel to quickly perform troubleshooting and repair of web-based applications
• Self-motivated, creative and strong sense of accountability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and serve in multiple roles
Optional desired skills:
• Experience with Linux, Apache
• MONO
• LAMP environments
