Dear All,
Greetings of the day!
For Most of the students, Masters course is the last formal education in their life. Hence, degree and employability apart, this course must aim to make them life ready and evaluate their readiness for life.
Other than class room learning they must be allowed to engage in diversified activities for their overall grooming and exposure.
Do they understand importance of health?
Do they value relationships?
Do they understand job or career is just one part of life?
Do they have necessary EQ to be successful as a human being?
Are they open to learning ?
Do they understand the difference between success and happiness?
Do they have a sense of citizenship in contrast to I, me and mine approach to only self interests?
In my opinion, all of these must be measured if one is talking about success of students.
Regards

Subject: [MTC Global] [Weekend Big Debate- I] How should we measure student success?
How should we measure student success?
Should institutions focus mainly on high completion rates, ensuring that students are successful in attaining their degrees? Or should students be encouraged to engage in a wide range of campus activities beyond their academics to develop well-rounded individuals? Or should students be made capable to acquire jobs in their fields? Or should students be encouraged to pursue what interests them, embarking on post-secondary education as a means of self-discovery?
