1.            Enterprise Backup Architect/Engineer:
Responsibilities
•             Document and analyze current Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Environment
•             Resolve the current backup issues and/or recommend backup solutions
•             Design new backup environment
•             Implement new backup environment based on the design
•             Test implemented design
•             Troubleshoot issues that occur
•             Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Enterprise backup and restore jobs
•             Train current staff on backup procedures
 
Experience
•             Proficiency in Symantec Backup Exec 2012 family products
•             Experience in backing up in VMWare 5.x environment
•             Experience with Disaster Recovery
•             Proficiency in documentation
•             Familiarity with vCenter (VMware) environment and backing up VMDK files
•             Familiarity with SQL and Oracle backups

2.            Systems Engineer
The Sr. Systems Engineer will support the Department of Health (DOH) Data centeroperations. The candidate will monitor and maintain the department's virtual infrastructure (VMWware), including virtual servers, VirtualDesktop Infrastructure (VDI), shared storage (EqualLogic SAN), switches, backups. The candidate must also have excellent networking knowledge.
 
The candidate will operate with minimal oversight and must possess experience in various technical aspects of the data center operations. The candidate must be an excellent team player and be able to lead 3-4 technical people.
 
Required Skills
•             Demonstrated knowledge of server virtualization technologies and extensive experience working with VMWare family products - 5 Years

3.            Interface Developer:
Experienced developer with experience spanning at least 10 years in IT with actual hands-on experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle. Primarily responsible for programming system interfaces based on real time HL7 transactions within a healthcare environment. Lead and participate in successful integration of interfaces, including risk analysis, testing, monitoring, and evaluation of the anticipated outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to monitor the performance of integration tools, logs, databases, connections and disk usage; ability to analyze and troubleshoot interface problems using on-line integration tools and utilities; ability to successfully apply modifications to existing interfaces to enhance functionality or improve integrity; ability to successfully perform integrated testing and moving the applicable test environment interface components to the production (live) environment adhering to formal change management requirements; ability to ensure test and training environments sustain a high level of synchronization and integrity with the production (live) environments. 
Job Requirements:
•             Completes analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new bi-directional interfaces.
•             Provides maintenance, support, and coding enhancements for existing interfaces.

4.            System Architect Job Description:
Experienced senior level architect with at least 8 years in-depth knowledge of application development in Java/C++ with object oriented distributed Services Oriented Architecture environment. The architect is required to do extensive analysis before new or changed elements are introduced. The architect must be able to work with customers and team members to elicit requirements, validate understanding with customers, interpret and design business requirements, and write technical specifications. Shall evaluate the legacy environment, analyze system requirements, recommend solutions, and document all findings. Solution shall include method for migrating from the legacy application in phases with no disruption to Government business.

5.            System Analyst:
Minimum of 8 years experience with a Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.  The Systems Analyst/Developer position requires strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems.  The incumbent will consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.  The incumbent will also be responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants.

Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing Microsoft based systems.

7. System Administrator:
Minimum 8 years experience with a Bachelors degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.  The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
 
This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.
 
This individual is accountable for the following systems: Linux and Windows systems that support GIS infrastructure; Linux, Windows and Application systems that support Asset Management; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.

Minimum of 8 years experience with a Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.  Resource will work in a lead capacity, responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution in support of Basel II implementation. Will help create the conceptual, high-level, and detailed design of the software solution. Individual possesses extensive experience with multiple technical disciplines, across multiple platforms. Develops the logical data model (LDM) and assists the DBA in developing the physical data model (PDM). Facilitates JAD sessions to determine data rules, and holds LDM and PDM Reviews with Data SMEs. Applies Data Naming Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and documents data model translation decisions. Includes use of data profiling tools and techniques, and development of review and QA data requirements.

9. Network Engineer:
Minimum of 10 years experience working in enterprise networking environment including experience performing basic configuration and documentation of IP enabled voice and data network.  Understanding of Cisco product line and an understanding of integrated communication services (VoIP, Wi-Fi) and WAN circuits and services (T1's, Frame Relay, TLS).  Experience with the implementation of enterprise voice and data network hardware protocols like MPLS, SIP and Multi-cast.  Understanding of interior and exterior routing protocols and be proficient with other network services and configurations like VLANs.  Ability to work independently to configure, manage and troubleshoot multi-protocol network elements throughout the OSI stack to ensure effective end-to-end communications for DOH.  Experience supporting network architect and network management teams.  Understanding all aspects of enterprise networking and having prior experience in the design and deployment of large integrated communication networks/services in a large scale enterprise environment.  Experience working with Cisco and Avaya products and services an have an expert level understanding of network security. 
 
Required Skills:
Required for maintaining all network switches, routers, wireless access points, voice communication systems/servers, network services (DNS, DHCP) and network ancillary devices.
 
Oversees internal and external routing protocols, network capacity plan,VLANconfiguration redundancy and alarm/event monitoring. 
 
Manages network security through active monitoring of the networks systems and services, network scanning support for IT intrusion detection and firewall services.  
 
Promote industry best practices. 
 
Comply with open standards. 
 
Act as a liaison to OCTO's IT team. 
 
Work with Network and Communications staff in the day-to-day operation including configuration and maintenance of network equipment, monitoring of network performance and systems administration of network devices and hosts with a particular emphasis on switches, routers and network/communication servers.
