Job Title:       Data Network Administrator

Location:       Atlanta, GA

Exp.:             9+ yrs

Start Date:     ASAP

Duration:       12 months

Description:

• Work experience in Cisco networking, voice, wireless, and unified communications
  
• Work experience and ability to configure Routers, Switches and access points
  
• Work experience to maintain and troubleshoot enterprise level LAN, WAN, Voice and WLAN networks
  
• Supports and assists in the day-to-day global network operations, health and performance
  
• Responsible for configuring, monitoring, supporting, testing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including data and voice Servers, printers, peripherals, VoIP phones, cabling, etc.
  
• Works with the Service Desk to resolve incidents involving network access or connectivity
  
• Works with WAN service provider to troubleshoot and resolve circuit issues
  
• Updates case notes and history using on-line service desk ticketing system
  
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate outages, congestions, and routing problems
  
• Escalates unresolved issues to outside vendors or internal Tier III support
  
• Utilize network monitoring tools to identify bandwidth congestion and device incidents
  
• Maintain and update knowledge base articles and information using information gleaned from ticket resolution - Cisco, Juniper, NEC Data and Voice Engineer
