What Apostle John is telling us is that there is a progressing relationship between our health, our wealth and our spiritual growth.
As you grow spiritually so too does your health and your wealth.
There is a big difference between wealth or riches and money.
One is an insignificant subset of the other.
Money is about the most insignificant part of wealth.
What is wealth?
What is prosperity?
Wealth is not money and money is not wealth
Wealth is 1. Wisdom 2. Knowledge 3. Understanding or comprehension 4. Counsel or the ability to motivate yourself to do things 5. Power or stamina or good health 6. Righteousness or moral rectitude 7 the love of God.
We may add to wealth issues like people and time without which we cannot exercise or manifest our wealth.
Believe it or not nobody is poor
Consider the above wealth factors and you will see that my God did not make a poor man.
Nobody is poor.
Most people are only broke.
They are broke because they do not know how to convert wealth into money.
People perish because of the lack of this knowledge and other vital knowledge.
Not because of the devil.
Not because of your uncle.
Not because of that old witch in the village.
Not because of the system.

The Lord Jesus did not come to start a church.

Jesus is not the only Saviour

The Lord Jesus knew this that is why he said we shall do greater works.

The Lord Jesus knew that his followers could not do any greater work until they were anointed. Reason why he told them to wait for the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is about POWER and PROSPERITY.

- Wisdom or money after the Order of Solomon. Solomon did not ask God for money. He asked him or wisdom and God made him the richest king to date. - Knowledge like information, like education
- Understanding like discernment or greater knowledge or deeper insights into reality.

- Stamina or power or good health
- Righteousness or moral rectitude
- The Love of God.
The Holy Spirit is the concentrated wealth and power and the prosperity of God unto man.
We, the Christians, have this treasure in our earthen vessel.

Christianity is not about being a member of a church. Jesus did not come to start a church. If so he would have stated so clearly. He would have even given us the blueprint regarding the conduct of business in that cathedral. There seems to be varying opinions and controversy over the following in articles all over the internet: The original King James Bible of 1611 included the Apocrypha. However, in 1928 under the Vatican, they agreed to remove 14 books from the King James Bible. It is speculated that the reason they did this was because they discovered that one of the apocryphal books titled, The Wisdom of Solomon, written thousands of years before they portrayed this false image as the Christ, prophesied not only their very act, but their very reason too! It is further said that the Roman Catholic Church therefore removed it so that the people would be unable to recognize the deception!
I am unsure of the authenticity of the above statement, as I found many articles claiming it as factual, and just as many articles stating otherwise. According to some articles, Martin Luther was Catholic and began the reform for the protestant church. Martin Luther was a Catholic Monk. So thist statement appears correct. However, the Catholic heirarchy disagreed with some of his teachings and practices and therefore rejected him as a Catholic. Thus, there was a great divide within the Catholic church regarding the Apocryphical books due to Martin Luther, which resulted in him being excommunicated! So, I am uncertain as for the true motive of the Apocryphal books being removed and am unable to say with absolute certainty any opinion in relation to the Apocrypha and the reason why they were removed.

Well, what's most amazing to me is having well meaning, extremely intelligent, highly educated folks squabble over the intricacies, relevance and virtues of 17th Century translations of first century fables based upon stone age mythology. A concoction of falsehoods designed by white-men in a vain attempt to explain belief and understanding of a supreme-being conceptualized as (of course) a hairy grey white man and his blue eye son. God should indeed be vexed by such a disparaging portrayal.
Yet the same white folks who sold (brainwashed?) us the concept are abdicating the church in droves. How come over a healthy 42% of Dutch are unaffiliated with any religion, unlike a miserable 0.4% of Nigerians? That's a >100X difference in subscription to a religion. What do the Europeans now know that we Africans don't? Why are we always 2 centuries behind the curve? The Catholic church is a century old in Cameroon - did our pre-Christian ancestors have a less moral or purposeful existence?
It is almost impossible to fully exercise ones faculty of reason and be a stalwart believer at the same time - oh, that's where the fallacy of faith is introduced as a panacea. Nevertheless, rejecting the concept of religion should neither make any boast about being intellectually superior nor should being a devout believer suggest one is morally superior.
Religion as we know it is fast approaching its sell-by date. It has evolved since the dawn of ages to its current form due to the unscrupulous practices of self-appointed righteous men who lord over those are naive enough to give them credence. The Nigerian men-of-god are no different from those who came before though this time they may be accelerating the expected turnaround in faith within Africa.

Who told you that men of God should be poor?
For you information: God's purpose filled life is the ultimate success and according to kingdom principles, it is but very normal when it comes to what you are confused about. According to Kingdom principles, people do even talk about it because it is just part and parcel of belonging to the kingdom. It is like telling you that I am black. You will be like... Duh???.
On another note, the Prophet has spoken so take heed. It is not your problem. It is their problem with the Lord so you are better off staying out of it.
The biggest tragedy about western education is that: High standards and achievement has been wrongly equated to independence in thought, deeds, speech, etc. (that includes independence from Jesus the Christ)
