Teradata Database Administrator
RICHMOND, Virginia

Job role & skill set: Database Administrator / Teradata.
- TSRM Ticket Management (Work Order, Change and Incident Tickets).
- Create users and grant rights when Work Orders get approved.
- Work all incident tickets.
- Netbackup Weekly, TARA, and Ad-Hoc BAR Support.
- Coordinate Teradata Outage and Maintenance.
- Monitor and Take Action on Alerts, performance tuning
- Monitor Perm Space by Database By System Daily.
- Troubleshoot and provide fix for queries aborted by TASM and spool errors (ie query tuning).
- Monitor and Respond to Teradata DBA Shared Mailbox.
- Monitor Viewpoint for blocking, long running, high PJI, skewed queries and work with users to resolve the issues.
- Generate Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports per schedule.
- Manage all Teradata incidents through TD@YS.
- Provide all data requested by GSC.
- Manage monthly data copies for HR Table and Cost of Care data
