We must understand the following. For a faculty, he has three options viz. 1. Become an entrpreneur. Risk is high. Fund availability?
2. Join corporate. Problem cost culture not available. One must be on his toes and continuously deliver 24x 7.
3. Remain as faculty. No problem. No tension ppts made once is valid for life time. More importantly cost lifestyle. Promotion if it comes is ok otherwise keep blaming management, students, other faculty etc.
We as faculties forget that we exist only if there are students. No students no faculties, therefore institution build up is a must. But who bothers. Lets crib and make life difficult for self as well as others.
