Location    :  Reston, VA

Job Description 

·         Manager is looking for a technical resource to help with cucumber automation.

·         Not looking for testing resource even though this team is under the testing umbrella.

Need: Strong development experience, needs to be able to look into existing code/ understand and read code, Java, exposure to ETL, experience with some type of reporting tool, Cucumber, selenium, UNIX, SQL

Best fit: Tester with coding skills  (hard to find) so a Java Developer with testing experience is fine
Nice to have: unit testing, reports testing, Tableau

 

Job Requirement

·         Candidate will perform high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

·         Proven experience as a Software Developer in Test (SDET)

·         6+ years of test automation experience ( Selenium, Cucumber) with specific focus on development of test automation frameworks and scripting

·         Experience developing and testing reports preferably Tableau or BO experience. Experience with ETL tools such as informatica is preferred

·         6+ years of experience developing and testing J2EE based n-tier applications

·         4+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based applications

·         Technical skills required: Strong SQL skills, database structures, preferably in an Oracle environment; Unix tools and terminology; ETL and Web-based architecture

·         Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·         Good analytical and problem solving skills, including statistical analysis.

·         Excellent written communication skills.

·         Mortgage industry and secondary mortgage application knowledge preferred

·         Industry-standard tool experience preferred: Quality Center/ALM, Clear Quest, DOORS, Microsoft Office Suite: MS-PowerPoint and MS-Project
