Position: OBIEE Developer

Location:Overland Park KS

Duration:6 Months

 

Job Description:

• The high level implementation activities are:
  
• Leading requirements discussions with customer and co-ordinating for sign-off
  
• Analyzing requirements
  
• Designing detailed components of OBIEE solution
  
• consulting around server sizing & technical architecture & Performance optimization
  
• Perform OBIEE Installation and Configuration
  
• Mentoring the development team around complex situations
  
• Client co-ordination and driving discussions for architecture and design sign-offs
  
• Support UAT activites
  
• Support production deployment 

The high level production support activities are:

• Will front-end with Business users for Issues understanding & resolution
  
• Coordinates with other Offshore support team members for issues resolutions of all the in-scope applications
  
• SLA Measurement & SLA tracking for acknowledgement & resolution of tickets, Weekly/monthly Status Reporting, leading monitoring activities
  
• Be the Single Point of Contact for BI support engagement at offshore
  
• Mentoring/lead offshore team around complex situations
  

 

Required Experience:

• Overall 8+ years of Oracle BI experience with 6+ yrs experience on OBIEE, BI-Publisher
  
• Demonstrated consulting, designing and implementation experience on OBIEE, BI-Publisher technologies
  
• Good OBIEE architectural and design concepts (should have executed at least few Life Cycle projects) 
  
• Good knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL, ODI, UNIX
  
• Nice to have knowledge on Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ODI, HFR, EPMA, Smart View
  
• Good leadership, organizational, oral & written communication skills
  
• Has worked in onsite offshore model
