Why should Biya appoint an illiterate Fru Ndi ?Re: What If Biya Appointed Fru Ndi, and All Other ‘Opposants’?

Amabo Solomon

If Paul Biya has not appointed your so called Dr. Prof. Chris Fomunyoh and Celestin Bedzigui who conspired  to sabotage CAMDIAC after being paid by CPDM REGIME , then he will appoint the illiterate in Bamenda?

Ni John Fru Ndi is an illiterate and does not have the educational and professional qualification to serve in any capacity in government for any country on earth . That explains why he is stuck with SDF because he has no other place to find political security except the SDF .He has proven himself wrong by virtue of the fact that he cannot manage the SDF Party . He has failed to stir the SDF ship safely to the shore because  being an illiterate he also surrounded himself with like minds in order to OWN sdf like his bookshop.

It will be a big mistake if any reasonable government absorbs someone with no degree to serve in ministerial post in this century. I think it is about high times some of you begin to realize yourselves because a local political activist is different from a public servant. Even though I hate Biya's politics of divide and conquer, I don't think  he has ever thought of Fru Ndi as the head master of a school or Post Master much more a Mayor.

When CPDM regime suggested  once that they would form a government of national unity, SDF NEC were jealous and instituted a political embargo that no SDF militant should accept any ministerial offer from Biya. The only reason is because those who came up with such an excuse were either too OLD TO BE APPOINTED MINISTERS OR LACK THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION TO BE APPOINTED.

So, please, stop day dreaming . John Fru Ndi is a book seller but he has never read any book  . He was told many years ago and he despised the fact and every single year those who said so have never been further away from the truth. CPDM read SDF as book and it explains why Biya has destroyed SDF. Welcome to the world of politics.

Since 1990 I am surprised that the man never considered enrolling into a college to study political science or political philosophy in order to understand politics !

Local heroism is what kills some of y Cameroonians because you refuse to deal with reality. I am no fan of CPDM regime but I think that man called Paul Biya is an astute politician ,which explains why he is beloved within the international community , which is sad because his politic is is self-serving as opposed to nation building ! However, trust me , why would a man like that with a degree offer a ministerial position to an illiterate?

Many illiterates in Cameroon politics have failed us starting with Pa Foncha, Pa Muna and co. Those of you SDF who have chased away all your intellectuals and scholars , degree holders and professionals from your party should think  three times because honestly you are left with chaffs and retirees from CNU cum CPDM !

Folks who shaped the SDF and propelled it to the political limelight of Cameroon have either died mysteriously or kicked out of the party, marginalized  or silenced by nonentities.

When will you people learn in order to stop trying to give too much importance to SDF? sdf has been destroyed and lying in a coffin waiting to be buried. Got it? There is no resurrection  for it.

What If Biya Appointed Fru Ndi, and All Other 'Opposants'?

Looking at October 2 Cabinet shakeup, the general observation is that the same Ministers have been serving in same or similar capacity since Mr Biya took over power in 1982.

We know also that since that advent of multiparty politics in Cameroon, there are political party leaders who have been clamouring to succeed President Paul Biya through the ballot box but in vain.

But for Belo Bouba Maigara of the UNDP (current Minister of Tourism and Leisure) and Dakole Daissala (one time Minister of Transport) who had declared themselves as being of the 'Presidential Majority' whatever that means….there are other opposition party leaders/or considered such.
In addition to 'opposants' there are other Cameroonians at home and abroad who can bring in new blood and ideas to the government which is already running short of energy and focus, who could be appointed.
In that way, Cameroonians would have been able to appreciate the contribution and criticism of 'opposants' to the regime through their being in office. And it would have also given a chance to others to contribute to build our country and not a 'selected' few who have been there and the country is continuously sinking...

I think the President would have or should appoint the following persons and personalities:
Prime Minister: Ni John Fru Ndi
Minister of Justice: Barrister Nico Halle
Minister of Territorial Administration- Dr Christopher Fomunyoh
Minister of Higher Education- Prof Patrice Nganang
Minister of External Relations- Patrice Nouma
Minister of Transport- Ekane Anicet
Minister of Women's Empowerment and Family- Edith Kah walla
Minister of Econ, Planning and Regional Development-Hon Jean Michel Nintcheu
Chairman National Commission for Human Rights and Freedoms- Madeline Afite
Ministry of Culture- Bonaventure Tchucham
Minister of Industries Mines and Technological Development-Jean Jacques Ekindi-
Minister Delegate in-Charge of Penitentiary Administration: Paul Eric Kingue
Minister of Environment and Nature Protection-Peirre Fritz Ngoh
Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation – Prof Elisabeth Tamanjong-
Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms- Tar Nfar Lucas Fon
Ministry of Tourism and Leisure… Chief Mila Assoute
Ministry of Public Health - Vincent Sosthene Fouda
Minister of Communication- Boh Herbert
Minister of Post and Telecommunication- Pah Kenneth Fru Ndeh

Observe that I left out Ministries of Finance and Defense, prerogatives to the President, in a way that he would not say they would steal money or take power by force. Since he has never given Cameroonians the chance to choose those to govern them.

It would have been better for them to be appointed and then they turn down the offer than for Cameroonians to be hearing of the same names for almost four decades now.

In this way Mr Biya would be able to say 'I appointed them and see what they did…' . He would also have an opportunity to maybe jail some of his 'opposants' whom would attempt to steal.

NB: This is fiction and just the thought of a Cameroonian and should not be taken for real. You can appoint whosoever you want!

The debate is open...
