I presume we are talking of the higher education . More than the upskilling what we need is change in attitude and habits. Faculty members need to spend time in updating themselves on the developments in their area of teaching and pass on updated knowledge only to the students. Instead of lecturing they need to have interactive session through question/answers , case studies and projects that are current. Management games have been found to be very useful in understanding the concepts.

Dear Colleagues
I am currently trying to put my mind and work in the area of 'Upskilling of Faculty Members' in educational institutions. Do share your thoughts.
Thank you in advance.
