We have an urgent requirement listed below:
Job Title: DevOps/Linux Engineeer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6-12 months
Job Description :
· Individual must be good individual manager, and excel at time management
· Individual must have active GitHub account with content that we can review
· Individual must be extremely proficient in the following technologies.
o RedHat and Debian Style Linux(s)
o Chef
o Jenkins
o Continuous integration
o Test driven development
· Must have demonstrable proficiency in one of the following languages:
o Bash
o Python
o Ruby
o Go
· Must have excellent communications skills.
· Prior security experience is a plus.
· Solid undressing of code deployment practices and version control are a must.
· Bonus for Java experience.
· Individual will be required to successfully complete a coding challenge that will take no more than 4 hours' time.
· Individuals who are proficient in the chef and Hashicorp development lifecycle go to the front of the line.
· Hashicorp technologies include:
o Packer
o Terraform
o Vagrant
o Consul
· Individuals with prior docker experience would also be preferable.
