Dear All,
students are not paying attention in the classes are due to:
1. Lack interest and aptitude in the field/course- This number is huge for engineering, medical and management courses. They have some other career interest but joins these courses due to parental and peer pressure. The trend is that "only if you do these courses, you are....."
2. distraction by peers: If the first point number is large, these students bully others, who are soft and submissive.
3. Lack of goals: Even interested students not able to score sometime and feels low in their confidence due to not having specific, measurable, achievable and realistic goals.
4. Psychological problems: depression, anxiety and addictions can be seen in some students but not taken care by parents and teachers due to stigma and other myths.
They are humiliated by teachers and parents: Students may not be responsible for humiliation!
Tutorials: The objective of tutorials are different from academic class rooms. The focus in tut ions are on exams but not on enhancing knowledge. These centers run by performance and demand/supply principles but colleges run by outdated rules and politics.
It is a myth that all teachers teach well. They may have knowledge and degrees, but not the skills to teach. Teachers are also human beings and can make mistakes/errors

Subject: Re: [MTC Global] At Cross Road - Student's performanceThe student lack interest in the class room sessions, because, they have a fancy of enjoying the colege at the cost of the parents or at the cost of tax payers'; money in the form of fee reimbursement system. The students who are all supported by their parents, that means, those students do not have a goal, hence they fail. their parents money gives them a moral, metal and physical support. this is one category.the second category is that the joint activities of a group. the short term enjoyment and realise their follies after losing one or two subjects.the third category is that a sort of an elite group. whether the teacher teaches in the class room or not. they pick themselves up to the fore.therefore, the students who have no goal only show their disinterest towards studies.but the god teacher teaches to all the students in a manner and methodology which imparts the knowledge and skills.it is the mistake of the takers of the knowledge the students.after facing the failures, the only solace, the tutorial college or tuition etc., to reach the asylum. On Sun, May 1, 2016 at 4:56 AM, Jawahar Kumar <jawaharkumar05@gmail.com> wrote:
