Re: [MTC Global] [Brain Storming] Traffic problems in Indian city

Dear Sir

Glad to note that lot of valid points are coming here.
Recently I was in UK. The traffic congestion problem is across globe.
In UK most office goers at all levels use public transport for office work and use cars etc for personal trips.Second point is a heavy toll is collected from vehicle users in selected areas during peak hours.
It will be very difficult to enforce anything in our country as our laws have big holes
Unless the individual decides to change anything won't work.

Dear all.
One of the best solution for the traffic problem is to make all our roads completely traffic signal free. This will reduce congestion. It could involve investment. But it would be a good long time solution.

I would like to  hear your opinion on solution for traffic problems in India.. What are some best solutions you can think of to improve traffic on Indian streets?  Odd-Even strategy in Delhi is a success story.

We can send the report to Government after we a have good discussion on the subject.

Best Regards.
