Position: Sr. Hadoop Developer with Scala and Spark Experience (9+ Years of Candidate Required)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 to 12+ Months

Job Description:

 

·         Experienced in Big Data Ecosystem with Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HDFS, HBase, Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Nifi and Spark

·         Experienced with distributions including Amazon EMR 4.x and Hortonworks HDP 2.2. Expertise in writing MapReduce programs to parse and analyze unstructured data

·         Involved in writing PIG Latin script and HiveQL queries to process and analyze data. Experienced in writing custom UDFs to extend Pig and Hive core functionality

·         Adept in data ingestion between HDFS/HBase and RDBMS with Sqoop. Proficient in data streaming and aggregation with Flume, Kafka and Nifi

·         Hands-on experience with Spark 1.4 and Spark SQL with Scala and Python. Extensive experience in several web frameworks including J2EE, Spring MVC, Python Django, Node.js and ExpressJS (MEAN Stack)

·         Deployed Web Application on Amazon EC2, Heroku and Sina App Engine. Experienced in Machine Learning and Statistical Analysis with Python and Matlab

·         Machine Learning Framework including Scikit-learn, NLTK and MLlib. Algorithm including K-Means, Regression, HMM, SVM, Adaboost & Neural Network

·         Skilled at Data Visualization with Tableau, D3.js, matplotlib and Mathematica. Experience with Graphic & UI/UX Design with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

·         Extensive Experience in Unit Testing with JUnit, MRUnit, Pytest
