Contract Position

Position:  Unix Systems Administrator

Position Type: Contract

Location: PLYMOUTH, MN

The candidate will be part of a larger team primarily performing AIX TL Upgrades\Patching and secondarily Red Hat Linux .dot Upgrades\Patching. The goal is to bring all servers and lpars up to security compliance and establish a regular patch maintenance schedule.

The candidate will be using native AIX and Red Hat Linux tools NIM and Satellite as well as custom scripts. Familiarity with Client Server Automation HPSA and IBM BigFix is a bonus

Candidate skills
- Able to work with 5 - 10 teammates
- Able to manage in a large enterprise environment with thousands of servers
- Change Management
- Customer Service
- Manage an aggressive work schedule

This role requires a flexible schedule with daytime planning and off hour upgrade activity.
