Need "Voice Engineer" Local to TX

Title: Voice Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

 

Must be local

 

The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, should be able to work in client location with multi-vendor environment.

This is a client facing role so the candidate must be able to interact with different technical teams, and application groups to understand their requirements and provide solutions according to their requirements.

Below are some technical skills which are critical for this job role.

In addition to, the candidate should be able to understand Toyota's environment in a big picture, should be able to work with firewall team because Toyota network is so complex that both WAN and firewall groups needs to work very closely to understand any critical issues and provide solutions accordingly.

 

Good experience with Microsoft Lync administration.

Gather functional/business requirements and definitions for IT Unified Communications service           

improvements

Interface with PMO, site walkthroughs, design, ordering equipment, receiving and installing

equipment, and provide support model for equipment (end-to-end management)

Provide project status on a regular basis as project team requires

Executive Level Support (C Level, VP, Directors) for unified communication matters like Skype

for Business

Create technical designs and specifications

Monitor and report on IT Unified Telecommunications services metrics

Tier 3 end user support for all Unified Communications (collaborative applications, video, and

voice)

Implement Unified Communications Applications into Enterprise solutions

Perform Unified Communications software and hardware upgrades

Document processes and procedures

End User Support/Training/Relations

Assist in the development of Unified Communication documents for design, implementation,

testing plans, maintenance plans, and any other unified communication related customer

deliverables

Setup and configure the Applications and/or Dial plan for Unified Communication design as

needed by the Customer.

Should have the ability for implementations/patch upgrades/configurations as needed

Troubleshoot and make administrative changes to customers' Unified Communication

environments as required

Strong Knowledge of SIP

Strong Knowledge of SBC/ECB's.

Strong Knowledge on 911
