Re: CAMEROON BILINGUALISM, AGAIN: THE EVIL OF COLONISATION

Thanks to Denis and Dr. Nfor. The strikes initiated by the lawyers and the teachers are our strikes. They are on our behalf. The struggle does not end there but what they have initiated constitutes a giant leap for the struggle. Awareness has been reawakened and this we must take advantage of. I have made an effort to talk to a few (both teachers and lawyers) personally. I have called a few others. But I plead with all of us to do it and make them understand that they are leading these strikes in our interest and that our backing is full. We will not accept anything less than what they asked for and even more. At every turn once they show any of their intrigues, the screws should be tightened. Above all we must make every effort to let our people understand what these efforts are all about and be ready to withstand all odds, for as long as it will take us to get back home. They are quite tricky and mistake all of us for little kids. Anyone who wants to take a nap during this journey will full into one of their various traps.

Dear All,

PLEASE I SEND TO YOU ALL AND ESPECIALLY TO THE LAWYERS AND TEACHERS MY ARTICLE ON CAMEROON BILINGUALISM. Spread this paper to all, and publish it in all Southern Cameroonian newspapers, because it goes to the core of one of the issues in this strike: the issue of so-called bilingualism. I have taken time to take Cameroon bilingualism apart so that everyone may see that it is colonisation, not bilingualism at all.

Please share this article, publish it, let teachers and lawyers read it. Then they will have a detailed understanding of the evil called in Cameroon bilingualism.

We whole heartedly salute the Common Law Lawyers and the Teachers who
as custodians respectively of the Common Law heritage and the
Anglo-Saxon Educational system have dutifully risen to combat
assimilation and the annihilation of our core values and identity by
the neo coloniser la Republique du Cameroun. But the problem is far
larger than meets the bird's eye view….
