Re: [MTC Global] "Don't be so serious, be sincere!!"

Good thoughts.

If we help others, that is too without any expectation,  God will return you in multiples of which you never thought.

There is great FUN in giving.

I totally agree with the thoughts shared by Mr. Chetan Bhagat.
Life is nothing simply a collection of our deeds.
If we do good to others definitely good will happen in our life.
when we were born  we brought nothing and when we will be leaving this world nothing we will be taking with us.
we only will be taking good deeds of us.
So Always help the needy and believe in the spiritual power of omnipresent.

Dear All,

Mr. Chetan Bhagat's speech is a wonderful piece of advise. I agree with the tools he has proposed for leading a balanced successful life. Let us go a deep further.

What is meant by balanced?
What is meant by successful?
What is meant by life?

We have duals like: success-failure, rich-poor, healthy-ill health, balance-imbalance, life-death, etc. Can we go beyond these duals? Can I achieve a state where this or that outcome does not destabilize me? Is it possible to attain this stage?

Let us try to introspect:
Who am I?
What is the purpose of my life?
What is life and death?

My simple equation is:
I was born with nothing, ZERO and going depart with nothing, another ZERO. What lies between these two zeros infinite number of Zeros. It means what ever I do between these two zeros, it has no value, zero value. If such is the state, and I want to lead the life, which path do I select: Dharma or Adharma? My reason says Dharma path, e/g/., servoice to people, helping needy, do pious deeds, inculcate good values, etc. This is possible if one is self-contented, self-managed and self-controlled, ever flowing in learning stage, maintaining peace of mind, Swadhyaya (self-study), etc.

If you go to a remote village, people are aware of this methodology. No need of stress management or time management!

Can we evolve such a human society?

Certainly, YES!

Regards.

Yours,

Here's an excerpt of A Speech by Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO YOUR STUDENT?

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order.
There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.
"Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with life where health and relationships are the marble.
Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die…One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are really lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so worked up? …It's OK, bunk a few classes, score low in a couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love! We are people, not programmed devices...â€
"Don't be so serious, be sincere!!"

Wishing u all a balanced & successful Life.
