[MTC Global] PhD quality

Dear Professors,                                                 l like to draw attention on.....
As per October national Newspapers and TV..... In UP for 368 peons posts of 5th std qualification...applicants are 255 PhDs, 10000 MBAs, + BTechs + MTechs+ MCAs= 2 lakhs. These are all genuine degrees from AICTE approved Universities. None from fake Universities. Why such poor condition. Is not credibility is lost. Can you please throw some light. Dear friends,

Good morning.

Her Well-Kept Secret...

A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a locked chest on top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the chest, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.

chest

In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the chest and took it to his wife's bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the chest. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totalling $95,000.

He asked her about the contents.
'When we were to be married,' she said, ' my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll.'
The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two Precious dolls were in the chest. She had only been angry with him two Times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with Happiness.

'Honey,' he said, 'that explains the doll, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?'

'Oh,' she said, 'that's the money I made from selling the other dolls.'

RE: [MTC Global] Former cab secy to head panel to draft new education policy

What an interesting formation. You are drafting education policy and you are not inviting any educationist to head the panel or to be member of the panel. Obviously, this policy will also have same fate as previous policies.

Former Cabinet Secretary TSR Subramanian will be the principal architect of the new policy that will chart the future course of education in India.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) is set to announce the constitution of a five-member committee that will be entrusted with the responsibility of drafting the country's third National Education Policy (NEP) since Independence. The panel will be headed by Subramanian and will have four other retired bureaucrats as its members.

Top ministry sources confirmed that Shailaja Chandra, who retired as the chief secretary of Delhi government, and Sudhir Mankad, who served as the chief secretary of Gujarat from 2005 to 2007, will also be part of the drafting panel.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of freedom fighter and independent India's first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all schools to celebrate November 11 as National Education Day by recalling his contribution to the cause of education. "On National

Education Day (NED), schools affiliated to the board should organise seminars, symposiums, essay writing and elocution competitions, workshops and rallies on the importance of literacy and the nation's commitment to all aspects of education. Schools (should) also organise sustainable long-term programmes to promote skill building among students," stated a notification issued by the CBSE.

[MTC Global] Investment options for senior citizens

Dear friends,

Good morning.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sep 14 2015 : The Times of India (Chennai)
Best option for senior citizens
PREETI KULKARNI

The Senior Citizens' Saving Scheme offers everything that retired investors need
It has everything that a senior citizen investor can ask for: assured returns, safety of capital and regular payouts.
The Senior Citizens' Saving Scheme (SCSS) also offers tax benefits under Sec 80C and allows premature withdrawals. At the same time, there are a few problems that need to be fixed. For instance, the income from the scheme is subject to TDS. Delhi-based V .K. Mahajan and his wife Madhu (see picture) are happy their investment fetches them a regular income, but miffed that the interest earned is taxable. Let us look at the salient features of the scheme.
Eligibility
The minimum age at entry is 60 years. But this can be relaxed to 55 years in case one has opted for voluntary retirement. However, VRS takers must open the account within a month of receiving their retirement benefits. Also, the amount invested cannot exceed the value of the retirement corpus. Investors who satisfy these conditions can open an account at any post office or at designated branches of 24 PSU banks and ICICI Bank.
Investment limit
An individual cannot invest more than Rs 15 lakh in the SCSS. Deposits can be made in multiples of `1,000. An individual can open more than one account by opting for a joint account with his spouse. However, the investment limit of `15 lakh applies to all accounts collectively . That is, an individual's total investment in SCSS cannot breach the `15-lakh ceiling.
Rate of interest
The interest rate of the SCSS is market linked and 100 basis points above the 5-year government bond yield. The rate for the current financial year is 9.3%. An investment of `15 lakh will yield a quarterly income of `34,875 (`11,625 per month). Once an investor locks in, the rate remains unchanged till the scheme matures. The big draw for investors is that the scheme is managed by the government and offers assured returns. The only risk is the returns could be lower in future as bond yields decline.
Interest payment
The interest is paid out every quarter on fixed dates--the first working day of April, July, October and January . This is irrespective of the date of investment. The quarterly payment is useful for retirees who need a stream of regular income for their living expenses. However, it may not be beneficial for those who don't immediately need such income. The quarterly payouts mean they lose the benefits of compounding.
Tenure and foreclosure
The SCSS has a tenure of five years, but it can be extended for three years after the scheme matures. In case of an emergency , an investor can foreclose the account after a year. If the account is closed before two years, the penalty is 1.5%. After two years, the penalty is 1%. There is no penalty if the account is closed in the extended period after the mandatory five years.
Taxation
The taxation of the SCSS is a mixed bag for investors. While investments are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80C, the interest earned from the SCSS is fully taxable as income. The income is also subjected to tax deduction at source (TDS) if it exceeds `10,000 in a financial year. This is a major point of contention for senior citizens who may not have a taxable income but still have to file their tax returns to get back the excess TDS.

Re: Father Krzystof Charamsa stripped of post on the day he said he was gay

People are not forced to become priests. There are laws governing this profession. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen or don't even step into the kitchen period.

DIASPORA ORGANIZATION OF RDPC ELECTIONS OR ANOTHER AVENUE FOR SQUANDERMANIA

The CPDM party is at it again. Without the slightest provocation from Cameroonians, they decided on their own accord, to "Re-Organize the "Basic Organs" of their Party. This is an exercise which following their internal Rules and Regulations is supposed to be carried out every Five years.
The thing sounds better in French: "Renouvellement des Organes de Bases". The last one was done in 2007. So NINE years later, the President while playing Nsongo and Draft with his childhood friend Eboutou, remembers that "Bebele zambwa, j'ai oublie de renouveler les Organes de Bases de notre parti. Ah-mot Belinga, appel-moi le Bamileke de Nkuete-la. Dites lui de pomper une annonce toute de suite. Les bailleurs de fonds nous regardent. Qu'il appel aussi les ambassades de France, Londres, Italie, Lagos, Afrique du Sud, les Etaz, sep sep ceux du Maghreb. Je commence deja a trop oublier les choses,,,Et tu es la tu ne me rappelle meme pas.Colle ma misse. Malchance".

Now, out of curiosity, I looked at the CPDM Party statutes and Textes which simply state that to be "S"- elected into office for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer of a Section, Sub-Section or Cell (Basic Organ); you must have been a Bureau member of that unit. Ypu must be a Permanent Resident of the area you are campaigning for, You MUST be a Cameroonian (no Dual Nationality will be accepted), *o|:-) catchYou must be FAITHFUL to CPDM ideology wearing Party uniform with pride*[]--- cook, no criminal convictions, very hard working, cannot have another Job that may conflict with your CPDM activities (cumul des fonctions), must be in good standing in the community...amongst other attributes and recommendations.

My question therefore is: What is really the importance of associating the Diaspora in this exercise when everyone knows that most cannot VOTE. In the US, most of those who pretend to be CPDM are American citizens. What is the real essence of even having a CPDM (or any other political party for that matter) presence here? The last time I checked, those who claimed CPDMness were almost killing themselves with below the belt insults, bad blood, innuendo laden emails as they were jockeying for who was going to be appointed "Minister In Charge of Diaspora Affairs". The fight was so ugly that some had to go to their villages back home to go and cook better "Atomokwor and Mungang"...

As a matter of fact, one Bassa Maryland CPDM mammie came back (to fight her RDPC friennemies) with "Le Pere Yebga"; dat Bassa pah near Boumyebel who popular legend say can make Die-Body jorrup for die. When Pere Yebga got to Washington DC, the place shweet ih sotey, after a few days, he instead threatened his hostess with "On fait comment pour demander l'Asile Politique? Je crois que je ne vais meme plus rentrer au bercail" Some man na ngrung beep?

So therefore, the question still remains:
Why waste all these monies sending delegations worldwide for a wild-goose mission everyone knows is a complete waste of time? By the way, what ever happened to the very boisterous and notoriously rambunctious Washington DC RDPC? It seems the various "two-fighting" factions are now having their meetings "na for Clando". Over to wuna. We are waiting for an explanation. Please, no be me wuna go Fight. I am just a mere public nuisance commentator.

MHPI TEAM GIVES A HEALTH TALK AS PART OF THE DEMONSTRATION. MHPI WILL BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL COUNCILS AND WORK WITH THE PEOPLE FOR THE INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE. MHPI GRAND LAUNCHING WILL TAKE PLACE IN CAMEROON IN 2016.
