Message from Mike
 With the 2012 Mastermind Event next week, I am reminded once again about how much I have come to rely on my fellow ACE'rs. Practicing alone in a small town doesn't allow for much interaction with other dental professionals (other than my wonderful team!) and I know, like all of you, that we will all be here to help each other through this wonderful, but crazy, profession we have chosen. But I need more. All of you who have attended an ACE meeting know how much deeper the camaraderie gets when we are together in person. Suddenly that person on the Forum who you weren't so sure of because you didn't really know how to take their tone in their posts, has become the long lost friend you never knew existed. And when you thought that situation in your practice was unique, you found out that your colleague from the other side of the country has experienced the same thing, and is sharing advice over cocktails in the pool. Once again, we have brought together an incredible and diverse line-up for this meeting, but we all know how much is learned when the lectures stop and the socializing begins. There aren't many meetings where you are given the opportunity to have fun participating in social events and activities with speakers, industry leaders, company representatives and other dentists, which will form lasting relationships, both business and personal, to last a lifetime.
