| The National Executive of SCARM received with sadness the passing on of its former US National Chairman John Fomunyoh. He was an indifatigable leader and helped consolidated the activities of SCARM at a time no one dared mention the Southern Cameroons in any public arena. He held that fort for a good period of time before he got derailed by various SCNC factions that came to stall the peoples' march towards freedom. SCARM has however moved on to higher heights and while we were just about to alert our activists as to where we are now John moved on. We would have wished he carried the good news about the UN state of the former British Cameroons to his forebears Chief Dr. Enonchong, Ambassador Epie, Albert Mukong and Moses Nkwo the main SCARM Exco that has gone to yonder. John has gone to join that great team that will as of now act as our intercessors before the Almighty to deliver us from the evil that the British in connivance with the French have put us. To his family and well wishers, we want to express our heart felt condolences and to remind them that they should join SCARM in its new thrust towards the UN State of Cameroon and take the good news to John and others when we shall meet them again in glory. He fought a good fight and has won the race hence the UNO State of the former British Cameroons. Fare thee well brother John, till we meet again in yonder. Visha Fai SG SCARM |
